Welcome to Southern Girls & Pearls! We're Catie & Courtney -- 2 friends who decided to start blogging about our adventures in marriage, cooking, crafts, and life in general.
Catie is a born-and-bred Texan (Gig 'Em!), and Courtney is a born-and-bred Alabamaian (definitely doesn't sound as cool as Texan... does it?). We're just a couple of girls living in central Alabama, where being southern isn't just a tradition, it's a way of life. We southern girls love our pearls (and our sweet tea)!
